4-2 Classroom Guidelines Contract

1. Follow directions.

2. Raise your hand to speak.

3. Come prepared for class.

4. Respect others and their property. Treat them with kindness in your words and actions.

5. Always try your best.

Remember students, you signed this contract in school. In signing this contract, you understand these classroom guidelines. I hope you will try your best to follow them throughout the school year.

Star in the spotlight

"A STAR PERFORMANCE"
 

Every student has an incentive chart in their desks.

A student may earn a star throughout the day by:

  • Following directions
  • "Setting the tone" for his/her peers, and
  • Putting his/her best effort forward

Once the chart is filled with stars, that student will be honored!

 

The student:

  •  ...will be "Star Student of the Day"
  • ...may bring in something into class from home that tells the class more about who he/she is
  • ...will be excused from (4-2) homework that night he/she is honored
